From Nippon Columbia in Tokyo, Japan, manufacturers of Denon brand recording products, comes the ultimate recording element designed specifically for the wide range of digital source materials, such as Compact Disc. 2-100 minute cassette tapes. Playback applications cover a wide range of high quality home and car stereo cassette decks. HD8 represents the fourth generation of a process Denon invented back in 1983 that effectively combines pure metal particles with cobalt doped ferric oxide for the ultimate in High Bias. This provides extended frequency response rivaling that of METAL. Yet HD8 is a High Bias tape. Denon cassettes also feature their exclusive ARC (Anti-resonance construction) mechanism shell halves. The newly developed ARC round shell halves disperse resonant frequencies to prevent sound quality degradation and maximize sonic performance.
